ICE Pillars

ICE is working for the Israeli community in order to create a community space based on Israeli culture and Jewish tradition. The organization values are based on partnership, enrichment, mutual support and strengthen the common identity of the community. Our activities are designed and adapted to different age groups: families, young people, and adults.

ICE is emphasizing and operating in four main aspects, and its influence can be implemented through the organization activities in those aspects:

Establish and strengthen the connection to the Jewish tradition

We are hosting events and Jewish holiday dinners according to the Jewish calendar to preserve the Jewish tradition.

Friday dinners with 50 local Israelis, Kabbalat Shabbat according to the traditional Jewish customs with Israeli and family atmosphere. We cooked dinners together with a group of volunteers every Thursday.
Rosh HaShana and Passover dinners with an Israeli atmosphere. Most of the events are for free or with a symbolic fee.
Eight holiday events are designed for families with children to celebrate together according to the Jewish tradition and Israeli culture. All the events are planned with a group of volunteers from the community.

Israeli identity and culture

Cultural events in Hebrew from various areas of art and leisure.

Lectures and workshops – all in Hebrew to different audiences’ different ages. One of our main goals is to encourage Israeli work, support Israeli local artists and preserve the Hebrew language.
Concerts and shows – producing concerts with famous Israeli artists with low fees that everyone can afford. We had concerts or lectures with Avraham Tal, Eviatar Banai, Tzufit Grant and more.
Cultural events every Sunday and Children's plays with the aim of making Hebrew literature and language accessible to the lower age groups.

Creating and strengthening the communal life

Out of a desire to encourage community change, personal entrepreneurship, and addressing the needs of the community, the organization supports and helps in developing initiatives and works by creating various social projects for the community that involve volunteers.

Holocaust remembrance and combating anti-Semitism

This topic is an essential component of our activity, within which we hold a variety of events and activities among them.
