Our second activity center in Germany, Zusammen Frankfurt, was established in December 2023 at the initiative of the local Jewish community.
Hundreds of Israelis live in Frankfurt, most of whom are members of the Jewish community but are not connected to it or take an active part in it, mainly in light of the fact that they felt that the Jewish community did not see them. The Jewish community in Frankfurt, which regretted its mission to provide an answer and a home for all the Jews in the city, sought to create an answer for the Israelis in the city and turned to ICE to form together and establish a dedicated center for them.
After a year of research and development, the center was successfully established. Since its establishment, it has been a great success and holds events for all age groups and target groups in the community: seniors, young adults, families and children, and more.Our center works in cooperation with the local Jewish community. Some of the center’s events operate in the community centers and during the year we hold joint events for both communities which have been very successful and have created connections and a bridge between the people and the communities.
As in our other centers, also at Zusammen Frankfurt, Israelis gather in the city to celebrate together at Friday meals, holiday meals, memorial days, as well as a host of cultural meetings, performances, workshops and more.
